Local MSPs

Ayrshire has 5 constituencies for the Scottish Parliament.

Cunninghame South
Kilmarnock and Loudoun
Ayr
Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley

For each Constituency there is 1 elected MSP and a further 7 regional (list) MSPs. Each Constituency falls within a specific region which determines the additional regional MSPs. For example, Cunninghame North is part of West of Scotland, whereas Ayr is part of South of Scotland.
